MANN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
Master Plan, Pavilions, and Ground Expansion*

MANN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS  |  Philadelphia

The ambitious eleven acre master plan that expands one of the nation’s premier outdoor entertainment venues. The master plan recommends reconfiguration of roadways, parking, vehicular drop-off and entrance sequences to simplify connections in Fairmount Park. In the first phase of built work, an expansive, sloping green hill provides a system of pedestrian paths, ramps, and stairs, and connects the main entry plaza with top-of-the-hill facilities. In addition to site expansion, two architectural pavilions activate the entry plaza and serve as an education center/concessions pavilion and a welcome center. Danielle served as the Project Architect and worked on all phases of the master plan, site, and building designs from schematic design through construction administration. She provided all design and technical leadership for staff and consultant coordination. The new pavilions and landscape transformed the public face of the Mann Center in Fairmount Park.
